Change The Folder Toolbar Icons
Article by Marc Liron - Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience)
The folder toolbar contains a number of management buttons called icons - for you to use. See the screenshot below:

But there are more available to you if you wish. To explore the options available to you simply select View from the menu toolbar, then select Toolbars and then Customize... See the screenshot below:

Now the following Customize Toolbar window should appear:

To add a new Folder Toolbar Icon (button) onto
the current toolbar simply select the button in the Left window and
then in the Right window select the button you want to place your
New button before on the existing toolbar.
Now click the Add button in the middle of the window and you will
see the new button appear on the Right window.
In the bottom left of this windows you will also note Two pull down
menus. By experimenting with these options you can change the size
of the Button Icon displayed and if you would like text to appear
alongside the button. Have a go and find out what you like! You can
always return and undo the changes you have made.
Please note that unlike some folder modifications, this Windows XP
tweak will effect toolbar in ALL your folders...
