4) MICROSOFT SECURITY UPDATES FOR SEPTEMBER 2006.

Microsoft has released the latest security patches for
September 2006 on the 12th September.

If your computer is set to automatically download and install
them then do nothing. If NOT then visit this page for more

6) MICROSOFT WINDOWS MEDIA ENCODER.

Microsoft have had a free Windows media encoder available for
many years BUT in this release we see a big improvement and
support for High Definition.

The new "Studio Edition" is still in Beta code but if you
edit content for CDs DVDs and HD you might want to take a look:
