RSS Explained
By Marc Liron - Microsoft MVP In Digital Media
What is RSS?
RSS is an easy way for you to keep updated on your favourite websites.
Instead of you visiting these websites to see if they've written a new article etc. You can use RSS (Really Simple Syndication) to get the website to let know when they have something new for you to read.
www.updatexp.com now offers an RSS feed (sometimes called a channel) for its most recent articles etc. and
also an RSS feed for its current newsletter!
How can I make use of RSS?
You will need to get hold of a program called a "News Reader", This displays the websites RSS feed on your computer.
RSS feeds are becoming a very popular way of finding out updates to your favourite sites as this information can be gathered in just one place!
A Free Reader:

A Paid For Reader:

How can I sign up to RSS feeds from
www.updatexp.com?
Click on the link that says 'RSS feed' on the home page.
You then need to follow the instructions for your particular News Reader in order to add this XML feed to your RSS list. However this is usually a very simple thing to do!
And now you have access to all the latest website updates!
Why not give it a go now?
Kind Regards
