The site is at:

May 2006 Windows XP Newsletter PART 1

...Well it is around midnight here in the UK but before I head
of to bed I just had time to send out this short newsletter
informing you of some Beta 2 downloads from Microsoft and
a warning about a virus spreading via Microsoft Word documents.

If the term beta 2 means nothing it is a term used in software
to describe software that is not yet fully finished, but good
enough for the public to try and then give feedback to the
software company...

PS - Don't forget to download your free 21 page guide...

1) THE WINDOWS VISTA UPGRADE ADVISOR GUIDE.

2) WINDOWS VISTA BETA 2 RELEASED.

-----------------------------------------------------------

1) THE WINDOWS VISTA UPGRADE ADVISOR GUIDE.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Last week (17th May) Microsoft released a tool that allows
you to check your computer to see if it is ready to upgrade
to Windows Vista.

...so I have created a 21 page guide to the tool and answered
a few common questions about the tool.

YOU can grab your copy here:

3) OFFICE 2007 BETA 2 RELEASED.
download and try.

-----------------------------------------------------------

4) LATEST MICROSOFT WORD VIRUS

-----------------------------------------------------------

There is currently a new virus spreading via infected Microsoft
Word documents.

Microsoft are due to release a patch soon BUT in the meantime
I highly recommend that you DO NOT:

- Download Word Documents form the Internet and open them.

- Open Word documents sent to you via email, even if they look
like they came from someone you know - if you did not ask for
it do not open it!

You can read the official Microsoft security advice here:

Then you have never used the power under the "hood" of
Windows XP!

More next week...
