My early impressions
of Microsoft AntiSpyware..? Well, if this early Beta version is
anything to go by I would say Microsoft have a "winner" on their
hands!!!

Designed to work with
Windows 2000, XP (Home and Pro) and 2003, this is just part of the
growing list of security tools that are being released by Microsoft.
Benefits Include:
# Real-time
protection helps improve your Internet browsing safety by guarding
more than 50 ways Web sites and programs can put spyware on your
computer.
# Known spyware is automatically blocked while you browse the
Internet.
# Scanning of
your PC memory, processes, hard drive and registry.
# Your preferences determine whether you are alerted by all
system changes, system changes caused by spyware only or changes
where an appropriate response to a detected threat cannot be
automatically determined.

Microsoft AntiSpyware Pricing..?
Well there is no news
from Microsoft on that front yet... but on a side note:
Even the financial
markets reacted to the release of Microsoft's future Computer
Security software plans (on the same day as releasing Microsoft
AntiSpyware, the company also announced the new:
Malicious Software Removal Tool)
On news of this
shares in two of the market leaders, Symantec & McAfee, fell
by around 7% !!!
