What is Internet Explorer 8 - Beta 1?

After many months of waiting, Microsoft are now talking publically about Internet Explorer 8 !

TODAY (March 4th, 2008) they have released the first public download for Software Developers and Web Designers to take a look at.

The "Beta 1" simply means it is NOT finished yet and all the final bits may not be available in this current version. However it will give those who rely on the browser for their work related activities a chance to evaluate it and provide feedback to Microsoft!

Any Major Updates to Internet Explorer 8?

YES

Not only will this version be more "Standards Based" BUT there are 2 new features called ACTIVITIES and WebSlices.
