You may have realized by now that I have NOT sent out a free newsletter in the last 2 months.

I have been working hard behind the scenes on preparing to take www.updatexp.com  forward in 2005!

This has meant an investment in new hardware/software AND the time to learn how to use it all...

Then there has been preparation needed in working out how to build an effective business online - that still provides *YOU* with plenty of *FREE* Windows XP Tips, Advice, Tutorials and News etc...

Now I have no full time job to hold me back - I am really looking forward to building a larger online resource for users of Windows XP!

...So WHAT can you expect in 2005?

1. A series of "How To...." Tutorials

I have been putting together a series of "How to..." style tutorials based on feedback from site visitors.

The first will be a on recording Internet Radio, your own voice, old cassettes etc into quality MP3 files

Look out for that by the end of January 2005.

2. Site Search...

I get lots of emails asking how to search my site!

So I will be introducing a new search tool to make the whole process a lot easier...

3. More RSS Feeds...

The recent RSS Poll that I sent out revealed some interesting facts and requests.

One of them was that many of you wanted more RSS feeds on existing site articles...

So I am now putting together RSS feeds on:

- Common Windows Update Error Messages

- Common Windows Media Player Error Messages

- Software Reviews

- Quick Windows XP Tips

...in addition to the MAIN site RSS feed

4. RSS Tutorials

The same RSS Poll showed that many of you had NOT yet tried using RSS.

So I am putting together a tutorial together that will take you step by step through the process.

It will also show you just how useful this new technology really is!

In addition to building www.updatexp.com into a great resource, I am focusing on making my "Weblog" an informative and thought provoking read...

The newest "buzzword" on the Internet right now is PODCASTING...

Many websites now produce a regular Podcast and www.updatexp.com is NO exception...

I have invested in a new broadcast quality microphone and have been busy testing it!

From January 2005 I shall be doing a regular Windows XP Podcast - that you can download as an MP3 file..
